REVELATION 16:15,16

15. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Luke 21:20-22

20.”But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21.Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22.For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Ezekiel Chapters 38-39:1-8

Chapter 38

Gog = Russia

Persia = Iran

Gomer = Asia Minor

Togarmah = Turkey

Persia = Iran

1.Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2.”Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophecy against him, 3.and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. 4.I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.5.Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6.Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarrmah from the far north and all its troops, many people are with you. 7.”Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you: and be a guard for them. 8.After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. 9.You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.” 10.’Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: 11.You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ 12.to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. 13.Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? ‘Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’” 14.”Therefore, son of man, prophecy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? 15.Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. 16.You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.” 17.Thus says the Lord God:”Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them? 18.”And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog (Russia) comes against the land of Israel,”says the Lord God,”that My fury will show in My face. 19.For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, 20.so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ 21.I will call for a sword against Gog (Russia) throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22.And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23.Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”’

Chapter 39:1-8

1.”And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog,(Russia) and say,’Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal; 2.and I will turn you around and lead you on, bringing you up from the far north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel. 3.Then I will knock the bow out of you left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand. 4.You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you an all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5.You shall fall on the open field; for I have spoken, “says the Lord God.  6.”And I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in security in the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. 7.So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. 8.Surely it is coming, and it shall be done,”says the Lord God.”This is the day of which I have spoken.

Joel

Joel Chapter 2

1.Blow the trumpet in Zion, sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand: 2.A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be such after them, even for many successive generations. 3.A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; the land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; surely nothing shall escape them. 4.Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; and like swift steeds, so they run. 5.With a noise like chariots over mountaintops they leap, like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, like a strong people set in battle array. 6.Before them the people writher in pain; all faces are drained of color. 7.They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of war; everyone marches in formation, and they do not break ranks. 8.They do not push one another; everyone marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, they are not cut down. 9.They run to and fro in the city, thy run on the wall; they climb into the houses, they enter at the windows like a thief. 10.The earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble; the sun and moon grow dark, and the stars diminish their brightness. 11.The Lord gives voice before His army, for His camp is very great; for strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; who can endure it? 12.”Now, therefore,”says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” 13.Rend your heart, and not you garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm. 14.Who knows if He will turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind Him, a grain offering and a drink offering for the Lord your God? 15.Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly; 16.Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and nursing babes; let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, and the bride from her dressing room. 17.Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar; let them say,”Spare Your people, O  Lord, and do not give Your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’” 18.Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, and pity His people. 19.The Lord will answer and say to His people, “Behold I will send you grain and new wine and oil, and you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations. 20.”But I will remove far from you the northern army, and will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, with his face toward the eastern sea and his back toward the western sea; his stench will come up, and his foul oder will rise, because he has done monstrous things.” 21.Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done marvelous things! 22.Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; for the open pastures are springing up, and the tree bears its fruit; the fig tree and the vine yield their strength. 23.Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. 24.The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. 25.”So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26.You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the  name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame. 27.Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. 28.”And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. 29.And also on My men servants and on My maid servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30.”And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31.The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. 32.And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the Lord calls.

Joel Chapter 3:1-17

1.”For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, 2.I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land. 3.They have cast lots for My people, have given a boy as payment for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink. 4.”Indeed, what have you to do with Me, O Tyre and Sidon, and all the coasts of Philistine? Will you retaliate against Me? But if you retaliate against Me, swiftly and speedily I will return your retaliation upon your own head; 5.Because you have taken My silver and My gold, and have carried into your temples My prized possessions. 6.Also the people of Judah and the people of Jerusalem you have sold to the Greeks, that you may remove them far from their borders. 7. “Behold, I will raise them out of the place to which you have sold them, and will return your retaliation upon your own head. 8.I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off; for the Lord has spoken.” 9.Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up. 10.Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’” 11.Assemble and come, all you nations, and gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O Lord. 12.”Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. 13.Put out the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; for the winepress is full, the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.”  (Rev.14:17-20) 14.Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. 15.The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will diminish their brightness. 16. The Lord also will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; the heavens and earth will shake; but the Lord will be a shelter for His people, and the strength of the children of Israel. 17.”So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling in Zion My holy mountain. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, and no aliens shall never pass through her again.”

Zechariah Chapter 12

1.The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him; 2.”Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3.And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. 4.In that day,”says the Lord, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. 5.And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart,’The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’ 6.In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the wood pile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, Jerusalem. 7.”The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8.In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. 9.It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10.”And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11.In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12.And the land shall mourn, every family by itself, and their wife’s by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wife’s by themselves, 13.the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wife’s by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14.all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.

 Zechariah Chapter 14:1-15

1.Behold the day of the Lord is coming, and your spoil will be divided in your midst. 2.For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished half of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3.Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. 4.And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south. 5.Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, for the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the Lord my God will come, and all the saints with You. 6.It shall come to pass in that day that there will be no light; the lights will diminish. 7.It shall be one day which is known to the Lord, neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen that it will be light. 8.And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea; in both summer and winter it shall occur. 9.And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be, “The Lord is one’”and His name one. 10.All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin’s Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses. 11.The people shall dwell in it; and no longer shall there be utter destruction, but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. 12.And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. 13.It shall come to pass in that day that a great panic from the Lord will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, and raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand; 14.Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be gathered together: gold, silver and apparel in great abundance. 15.Such also shall be the plague on the horse and the mule, on the camel and the donkey, and on all the cattle that will be in those camps. So shall this plague be.

ZEPHANIAH Chapter 1:14-18 & Chapters 2 & 3

1:14 The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and comes quickly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. 15. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16. A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. 17. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. 18. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Chapter 2:1 Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, O nation not desired; 2. Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord's anger come upon you. 3. Seek you the Lord, all you meek of the earth, which have desired his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be you shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger. 4. For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. 5. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the national the Cherethites! the word of the Lord is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy you, that there shall be no inhabitant. 6. And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. 7. And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed there upon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the Lord their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity. 8. I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the reviling of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border. 9. Therefore as I live, says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall posses them. 10. This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the Lord of hosts. 11. The Lord will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, everyone from his place, even all the isles of the heathen. 12. You Ethiopians also, you shall be slain by my sword. 13. And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness. 14. And flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the upper door frame of it; their voice shall sing in the windows; desolation shall be in the thresholds: for he shall uncover the cedar work. 15. This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! everyone that passes by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.

Chapter 3:1 Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city! 2. She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the Lord; she drew not near to her God. 3. Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow. 4. Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law. 5. The just Lord is in the midst thereof; does he bring his judgment to light, he fails not; but the unjust knows no shame. 6. I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passes by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant. 7. I said, Surely thou will fear me, thou will receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings. 8. Therefore wait you upon me, says the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. 9. For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent. 10. From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my worshippers, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering. 11. In that day shall thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou has transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of you them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shall no more be haughty because of my holy mountain. 12. I will also leave in the midst of you an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord. 13. The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid. 14. Sing, O daughter of Jerusalem. 15. The Lord has taken away thy judgments, he has cast out your enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of you: thou shall not see evil anymore. 16. In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear the not: and to Zion, Let not your hands be slack. 17. The Lord thy God in the midst of you is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over you with singing. 18. I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of you, to whom the reproach of it was a burden. 19. Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict you: and I will save her that is crippled, and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. 20. At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, says the Lord.
